Martin Luther King Jr. Is Brought To The Silver Screen In Trailer For Selma

One of the greatest advocates for civil rights who ever lived, Martin Luther King Jr. was a tremendous human being, a man whose great legacy is known throughout the world. Several times, films centered on the man have been attempted, but few, if any, have come to fruition. That changes this January, when Selma debuts in wide release. Check out the trailer for this drama below.

I wasn't too sure about the choice of music there at first, but y'know what? I like it. I like the sort of inspiration vibe it sends, which nicely reaffirms the attitude Martin Luther King Jr. had despite all the hideous violence and bigotry he and his fellow advocates suffered. David Oyelowo looks great here, as does Tom Wilkinson, and on a note of the films casting, I actually had no idea Oprah Winfrey was in this one until the trailer went up last night!

This is a great trailer, hope the movie lives up to all the wonderful things Martin Luther King Jr. did in his life.
