Try, Just Try, To Watch The New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailer And Not Get Chills

Last night there was a massively important college football game which carried a new trailer for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Giving the world the first new footage from the film since it's first trailer back in October, the new trailer has already raked up nearly 3 millions views in under 12 hours. Add to that hefty viewcount by watching the trailer below!

To be frank a moment, this really isn't a quote/unquote trailer, more like an extended sneak peek. It's about a minute shorter than traditional trailers, and the lack of an appearance by the MPAA "Appropriate Audience" label at the beginning of it makes me think this won't be shown in theaters. But that's my only complaint with this sneak peek, which somehow gets me even more excited for this juggernaut feature.

The emphasis on the various members of The Avengers (namely Black Widow, in what look to be scenes from much earlier on in her life) and how the existence of Ultron is affecting them is wonderful to see, as is the incredible action in that Hulk vs. Hulkbuster sequence. Add in James Spaders menacing vocals as Ultron (seriously, that's some ingenious casting right there), and this is a trailer that's simply terrific.

I do have to wonder aloud though...is this the last time The Avengers pop up at a football game? Perhaps at, say, some kind of bowl that's super both the Earth's mightiest heroes and Ant-Man could have new TV spots or something. I dunno, just a thought!
